We strive to help all human beings connect with the resources that will help them not only survive but, eventually, thrive: childcare, financial literacy, scholarships, job training, entrepreneurial mentorships, and sustainable employment which can lead to self-sufficient and fulfilling lives.

All of this is an opportunity for a hand-up, not just a handout. With the benefits cliff bridged and opportunities present, individuals' and families' chances of achieving economic stability and upward mobility can potentially increase. We do this as we celebrate diversity and uplift local community traditions.

A supportive organization who has a passion for improving the lives of the people within the community; strengthen, empowering, equipping and enhancing their abilities in self-esteem, self-sufficiency and self-confidence. Offering Education, Workforce, Human Services, Domestic Violence, Environmental, Economic and Community Development Programs ; throughout Illinois and Northwest Indiana areas.

Saint Leonard’s empowers formerly incarcerated men and women to lead whole and productive lives.

A safe place to recover for single women and women with children. Housed inside a refurbished convent, this ministry provides a safe and loving environment where women learn the necessary skills to make new choices, live independently, and build strong support systems while they encounter Jesus Christ. 

We believe domestic violence to be more than a woman’s issue; it is socio-political in nature, a public health concern, a criminal justice outrage, and a business challenge.  

Our mission is to provide transitional housing for homeless women, children, and families and experiences that empower, mentor, and support women and the broader community so they can achieve their highest potential. 

 The mission of South Suburban Family Shelter is to provide comprehensive, coordinated services to families in which domestic violence exists without imposing any one solution. 

 At Roseland Christian Ministries, we see church as more than a congregation or a community—we see it as a calling. We feel deeply the greatest commandment to love God, and to act on that love of God by loving our neighbor. Every member of the Roseland community is our neighbor, and we love them. 

 Oaks of Righteousness is a faith-based, nonprofit residential program that offers support for female ex-offenders who desire to make positive life changes and become productive members of society.
